I'm 55 and read about how our stomach acid lessens as we age. Even though I didn't take antacids, I realized by afternoon I would have that "burn" feeling. I only need to take one Betain HCL to relieve those symptoms. I take one in am. (If I forget to take for a few days, burn comes back), so I know they are working! And we need to get stomach acids in balance for good absorption. Highly recommend these. (I've tried others, I like these best!)

How I discovered Betain HCL w Pepsin by Debra Atkinson's top recommendations. Apple cider vinegar after a month, was upsetting my stomach and decided to try capsule form with pepsin. Prior to meals, 20 mins., I take 1-2 tablets and noted after meal, no bloating experience and my digestion wasn't working 1-2 hrs. after the meal. I was hesitant to take supplement prior to meals but cause and effects is so lighter especially protein content for me..Thanks, Magdalena
